Each couple has a unique vision, budget and needs for their wedding day. For that reason, we offer two different levels of floral service. Here's what you can expect at each level...
Partial Service (Pick Up) is our most basic and budget friendly floral service. This level of service is right for those who do not require an onsite florist for setup and floral installations. With this service, clients will need to be able to pick up their floral order the morning of their wedding.
Full Service is for the couple who wants to sit back, relax and let the florist handle all things wedding flowers for their big day. Delivery, setup, floral installations and takedown of wedding florals are all options with our full service weddings.

What should I expect working with Southern Maryland Flower?
Once you reach out to Southern Maryland Flower either using the "Wedding Inquiry" form below, emailing us directly or giving us a good old fashioned phone call, we will send you the link to our online Wedding Questionnaire. Once you've completed your questionnaire and we've had a chance to look it over we will reach out to setup a time to chat in more detail about your floral needs.
After we've gained an understanding of your floral vision, we will put together an estimate for you. This will be emailed to you and you will be give a week (longer if requested) to look it over and discuss with anyone helping you plan your wedding. Of course we are here for you through this process and can help you creatively problem solve any roadblocks that arrive.
At this point if you choose to move forward with booking Southern Maryland Flower as your wedding florist, you will be emailed a contract to sign. Once we receive your signed contract and non-refundable retainer fee (this is applied to your total balance) we will block off your wedding date and setup your payment schedule. We will reach out to you and setup a design meeting about 3 months out from your wedding date. After this meeting you will be sent your Design Proposal for your signed approval.
Throughout this process we can connect with your wedding planner, photographer and other key members of your wedding day team if you have them.
One month before your wedding, we will check in with you and discuss any last minute details.
When your wedding day arrives we will deliver and be on site to setup your flowers if you have chosen our Full Service Wedding option. Take down of florals can also be included for our Full Service clients. If you've opted for our Partial Service option we will have your wedding flowers ready for pickup the morning of your wedding. This is usually a task that is given to a friend or family member who is willing to help.
Do you have to know our wedding floral budget?
Yes and no...Knowing the amount you've budgeted for wedding flowers does help us provide you with more accurate details like the amount of florals and flower types you can expect for your wedding, but if you really don't have a clear budget yet we can discuss typical budget ranges with you and what to expect at each level.
Are you available for weddings and events year round?
Yes, we book events year round! Here at Southern Maryland Flower we aim to create floral designs that include some elements that are seasonal and local to help create a sense of time and place. While we do grow some of our own flowers to achieve this, we also use traditionally sourced flowers like other florists.
Where are you located?
This is an important question for our Partial Service customers who will be picking up their wedding flowers. Southern Maryland Flower is located in St. Mary's county on Tower Hill Rd in Leonardtown, Maryland.
